Cyanotype Sun Printing
My most popular workshops are back for the spring/summer season.
Service Description
The magical process of cyanotype printing is fun and easy to learn. This workshop will cover the basic techniques and processes leaving you with all the skills to develop your own practice. You will leave the session with 5 prints (including one mystery colour-pop print) and I am sure you will be delighted with the results. No previous experience is necessary. I hand make a range of light-sensitive papers for you to use in the session, so I have already done the messy part for you. I also provide a wide range of plants, pressed flowers and feathers for you to print but participants are encouraged to bring their own items too as this can make the prints more personal. Cyanotype workshops are only available to book from late April to late September, when the UV in sunlight is strong enough to create beautiful prints. If you cannot see any suitable dates on the schedule please contact the studio directly to arrange a bespoke class for your small group on a date that works for you.
