Advanced Cyanotype Printing

Service Description

This workshop is specifically aimed at previous participants of my entry level cyanotype printing workshop. If you loved learning the basic techniques and now want to expand your practice and try printing on fabric, wood or larger format papers then this class is for you. I will provide a range of light-sensitive papers and other pre-treated surfaces for you to use in the session. I will also provide a wide range of plants, pressed flowers and feathers for you to print but participants are again encouraged to bring their own items too as this can make the prints more personal. Perhaps you have a specific project in mind? If you enjoy embroidery you may wish to create a number of fabric pieces rather than experimenting with printing on wood or larger papers. Perhaps you would prefer to make a number of greeting cards or you are specifically interested in the circular format prints. In all cases please contact me to discuss your specific needs so that I can ensure that I have ample materials available. This workshop is only offered in summer (June to September) and is specifically aimed at participants with previous experience of cyanotype printing. If there is no current availability as a scheduled class on Eventbrite I can run this as a bespoke workshop in the summer months (June to September) for a group of 4-6 people either at my home studio or other suitable venues (to be discussed).
