This original lumen print was created by placing a feather on the surface of Ilford photographic paper and then exposing the paper to sunlight for between 3 to 4 hours. It was then developed in a small purpose-built darkroom in my studio at Wyresdale Park in the beautiful Forest of Bowland.
 
I source my plants and feathers from the local area and create all my original prints and drawings in the studio. The immediacy of this way of working, immersed in nature, enables me to capture the shifting beauty of seasonal changes and means that you too can own a unique snapshot of Lancashire.
 
All prints on the website are sold unframed. All lumen prints have been pre-mounted on black mountboard in order to protect the print and aid with framing. The print measures 8x10 inches and the mount is A4. The print can easily fit into a standard frame with an 8x10 inch apeture.
