Indigo Studio is a working artist's studio selling original artworks by Lisa Howard and guest artists. We also provide a curated range of art and craft materials and host printmaking and drawing workshops in the stunning Forest of Bowland, Lancashire
Lisa Howard is a printmaker, illustrator, photographer and freelance arts educator. Working primarily with botanical subjects and found objects Lisa creates one-of-a-kind artworks that evidence the processes and materials of making.
Materials
At Indigo Studio we use natural and sustainable materials whenever possible. Utilising recycled cotton and botanical hand-dyed papers and non-toxic, water based inks. Plants and feathers are ethically sourced or gathered in the forest and cyanotype printing is a natural creative process harnessing the sun's energy.
We also work with local artisans and manufacturers to supply the best art and craft materials to ensure that you too can enjoy creating sustainably.
